The Role

The Senior Lead Software Development Engineer plays a key role in designing and developing complex ServiceNow solutions, including integrations with external systems and platforms. This position requires strong technical skills and collaboration with cross-functional teams to implement scalable solutions within the ServiceNow platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement integrations between ServiceNow and external systems, including REST-based bi-directional data flows.
• Support the development of Scripted REST APIs, outbound REST Messages, IntegrationHub flows, and MID Server configurations.
• Collaborate with architects and senior engineers to define integration requirements and ensure alignment with best practices.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
• Assist in debugging and optimizing integrations for performance and reliability.
• Contribute to documentation and knowledge sharing across the team.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in ServiceNow development and integrations.
• Solid understanding of REST APIs, OAuth, and web technologies.
• Proficiency in JavaScript and ServiceNow scoped applications.
• Experience with MID Server setup and basic configuration.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow's data models and CMDB.
• Exposure to the SN CSM and FSM applications/modules is a plus.
• Ability to identify architectural considerations and collaborate with senior architects.
