Senior ServiceNow Developer, ITOM, CMDB

As a Senior ServiceNow Developer at IDEXX, you will be responsible for developing and implementing robust solutions that drive the evolution of our Configuration Management Database (CMDB) capabilities. Your expertise will help shape advanced features and tools that empower teams to utilize the CMDB to its fullest potential.

The ideal candidate will have 5-7+ years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development with a strong focus on CMDB and IT Operations Management (ITOM), including complex project delivery and platform integrations.

You will design, develop, and implement ServiceNow integrations to expand and enrich our CMDB, ensuring data accuracy and reliability from multiple sources. Additionally, you will develop and enhance discovery patterns, custom probes, and sensors to improve automated CI population and reconciliation.

Other key responsibilities include:

• Maintaining and optimizing CMDB health through effective identification and remediation of data quality issues, regular audits, and ongoing improvements.
• Contributing to the governance and continual service improvement of CMDB processes and standards.
• Supporting the lifecycle management of CIs, including onboarding new CI classes, retiring obsolete data, and maintaining robust relationships and dependency mapping.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to capture requirements, define use cases, and translate business needs into technical CMDB solutions.

This role is 100% remote with a preference for Eastern or Central time zones. The successful candidate can expect a base annual salary target of $105,000-$120,000, opportunity for an annual cash bonus, health insurance, 401k matching, and additional benefits.
