Business Analyst Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to play a key role in driving business success by gathering requirements, creating user stories and ensuring adherence to the agile process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders across IT, HR and Security Incident Response departments to elicit, document and prioritize business requirements.
- Conduct workshops and interviews to understand business processes and identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure that requirements are clearly articulated and aligned with business objectives.
User Story Creation:
- Write clear and concise user stories with well-defined acceptance criteria.
- Ensure that user stories are understood and agreed upon by both the development team and stakeholders.
- Break down high-level requirements into smaller actionable pieces.
Agile Process Adherence:
- Participate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning daily stand-ups and retrospectives.
- Work closely with the development team to ensure timely delivery of user stories.
- Collaborate with the product owner to prioritize the backlog and ensure alignment with business goals.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years experience as a Business Analyst preferably with ServiceNow.
- Degree or diploma in Information Technology Business Administration or a related field.
- Proficiency in ServiceNow particularly in IT HR and SIR modules.
- Strong understanding of agile methodologies and practices.
- Experience with creating user stories and acceptance criteria.
