Business Analyst Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to play a key role in driving business success by gathering requirements, creating user stories and ensuring adherence to the agile process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders across IT, HR and Security Incident Response departments to elicit, document and prioritize business requirements.
  • Conduct workshops and interviews to understand business processes and identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure that requirements are clearly articulated and aligned with business objectives.

User Story Creation:

  • Write clear and concise user stories with well-defined acceptance criteria.
  • Ensure that user stories are understood and agreed upon by both the development team and stakeholders.
  • Break down high-level requirements into smaller actionable pieces.

Agile Process Adherence:

  • Participate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning daily stand-ups and retrospectives.
  • Work closely with the development team to ensure timely delivery of user stories.
  • Collaborate with the product owner to prioritize the backlog and ensure alignment with business goals.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years experience as a Business Analyst preferably with ServiceNow.
  • Degree or diploma in Information Technology Business Administration or a related field.
  • Proficiency in ServiceNow particularly in IT HR and SIR modules.
  • Strong understanding of agile methodologies and practices.
  • Experience with creating user stories and acceptance criteria.
