Job Title: Solutions Architect – ServiceNow

Location: Toronto, ON – Hybrid (2 days onsite at 160 Front St; 4 days onsite as of November)

Contract Duration: 12 months (extension possible)

Start Date: ASAP

Schedule: Monday–Friday, core business hours (OT may be required with deployments/on-call)

Role Overview

We are seeking a Solutions Architect with deep ServiceNow expertise to design and deliver enterprise architecture frameworks, roadmaps, and solutions within the bank’s ITS SRE practice. This role involves guiding technology choices, ensuring alignment to enterprise standards, and providing technical leadership on complex, high-risk initiatives. The successful candidate will collaborate with internal stakeholders, technical teams, and third parties to design scalable, compliant, and cost-effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of enterprise/segment technology architecture strategies, frameworks, and roadmaps.
• Review and approve project blueprints, ensuring compliance with enterprise standards.
• Provide expert consultation on solution design, system requirements, and performance objectives.
• Oversee development specifications and identify system modifications needed to meet objectives.
• Partner with business and technology stakeholders to evaluate requirements and recommend optimal solutions.
• Influence vendor product design and contribute to third-party contract negotiations where applicable.
• Conduct pre- and post-implementation reviews to ensure solutions meet business requirements.
• Support IT governance by aligning projects to architectural standards and frameworks.
• Stay current with emerging trends and recommend enhancements to improve efficiency, security, and cost management.

Must-Have Skills

• 10+ years of ServiceNow experience (as System Admin, Developer, or ITSM Manager).
• Proven Solutions Architect and solution design experience.
• ServiceNow CSA Certification.
• Strong database management experience.
• Network architecture experience.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• CTA Designation.
• Prior experience in financial services or consultancy.
