Technical Solutions Specialist
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering complex technical solutions within the ServiceNow environment, ensuring that the outcomes meet business requirements.
The role involves undertaking operational activities including resolving platform-related incidents, version upgrades, housekeeping, and proactive maintenance to ensure the smooth operation of the ServiceNow platform.
As a key member of the team, you will also perform peer reviews of colleagues' deliverables to ensure that they follow best practices and meet standards. This includes engaging with internal stakeholders to understand their requirements, defining solutions, and agreeing on the definition of done.
Participating in team DevOps ceremonies such as sprint planning, demos, and reviews will provide valuable input for the development of technical solutions.
- Developing technical solutions on the ServiceNow platform, specifically with ITSM and ITOM modules, designing and delivering technical solutions.
- Familiarity with integrating external platforms/data into ServiceNow using best practices.
- Programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, and Python.
- ServiceNow modules like HR, SecOps, CMDB, or Virtual Agent.
- Using ServiceNow Catalogue Builder and Flow Designer components.
- Working within a DevOps environment, understanding related processes and controls.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Requirements
- Proven experience developing on the ServiceNow platform.
- Familiarity with integrating external platforms/data into ServiceNow.
- Experience with programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, and Python.
- Preferably experienced with ServiceNow modules like HR, SecOps, CMDB, or Virtual Agent.
- Experience using ServiceNow Catalogue Builder and Flow Designer components.
- Experience working within a DevOps environment.
