Job Overview

We are a leading provider of cutting-edge technology solutions to mission-critical organizations.

This role involves designing, developing, and customizing ServiceNow applications for large-scale digital modernization efforts in the Department of Defense.

As a Senior ServiceNow Developer, you will lead the design, customization, and enhancement of ServiceNow applications. You will build workflows, integrations, and user-facing solutions that align with mission requirements while ensuring compliance with DoD security and sustainment standards.

Responsibilities:

• Developing specifications for complex software applications and maintaining/modifying existing systems.
• Designing software, hardware, and communication architectures to meet enterprise and cross-functional requirements.
• Leading efforts in program design, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation for mission-critical systems.
• Providing in-depth software systems programming and analysis, including advanced file maintenance, telecommunications networks, and scientific/mathematical software packages.
• Applying expertise with MicroStrategy or other BI platforms for analytics, data modeling, and dashboard design to support mission operations.
• Implementing modern security solutions such as blockchain and cryptography to harden system designs.
• Directing, mentoring, and reviewing the work of task personnel, ensuring quality assurance, adherence to standards, and project deadlines are met.
• Identifying, assessing, and presenting options for system improvements, including hardware/software upgrades and emerging technologies.
• Evaluating new and existing software products; ensuring systems remain efficient, sustainable, and aligned with mission requirements.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Developing, testing, and deploying custom ServiceNow applications, workflows, business rules, UI policies, and integrations.
• Serving as a Sustainment SME/Lead, providing expert-level support in sustainment lifecycle management activities across ServiceNow applications and modules.
• Analyzing functional requirements and designing scalable, secure ServiceNow solutions that address business domains such as personnel, logistics, finance, and contracts.
• Enhancing applications to reduce operating time, improve efficiency, and ensure high availability across ServiceNow environments.
• Developing and supporting REST/SOAP API integrations between ServiceNow and external DoD/federal systems.
• Preparing program-level and user-level documentation, ensuring adherence to Information Assurance (IA), Quality Assurance (QA), and Change Management (CM) standards.
• Conducting functional testing, regression testing, and debugging to ensure ServiceNow applications meet mission-critical requirements.
• Implementing and managing security models and role-based access controls in alignment with DoD compliance requirements.
• Providing guidance and technical direction to junior ServiceNow developers and ensuring deadlines and sustainment objectives are met.
