Overview

This role is a hybrid position, not requiring relocation.

Foot Locker seeks a ServiceNow CMDB Engineer to lead design, development, and integration of our enterprise Configuration Management Database.

You will own the roadmap, architecture, and implementation of CMDB solutions on the ServiceNow platform, ensuring scalability, resilience, and transformation-readiness.

Responsible for the overall roadmap, backlog, architecture, design, implementation, enhancements, and integrity of the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) as well as implementation and development of new CMDB integrations on the ServiceNow platform within the enterprise.

Responsibilities:

• Understand key business drivers and use this understanding to accomplish own work including designing and developing reliable, scalable, and maintainable systems and applications.
• Monitor system performance and reliability, proactively addressing any issues and identifying opportunities to improve existing systems and processes.
• Maintain and update documentation related to system design, development, and maintenance processes.
• Provide subject matter expertise, acting as technical product advocate, design, develop, and implement ITIL processes where CMDB services are consumed by ITSM, ITOM, SACM, Knowledge, Demand, and Release Management modules within the ServiceNow platform.
• Researches and evaluates alternative solutions and recommends the most efficient and cost-effective solutions.
• Proposes data model, design changes to processes and products, exerts significant latitude in determining objectives of an assignment.
• Translates requirements into functional and technical requirements.
• Develop technical design documents.
• Designs and develops extensions to the ServiceNow data model in support of requirements towards CMDB, SACM, and other modules.
• Reviews and refines designs for usability, reviews testing scenarios, and refines test cases to ensure application quality and works with users to review test results to ensure they meet expected results. Supports and coordinates scheduling and execution of releases, product upgrades, new technology deployments.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information technology, or a related field.
• 3+ years' experience with software development, system administration, or network management, depending on the specific discipline.
• ServiceNow Fundamentals Course completion.
• ServiceNow Configuration Compliance Essentials Course completion.
• ITIL Foundations Certification preferred.

Benefits:

The annual base salary range is 85000 - 105000 USD. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. Salary will be determined by education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
