Job Title: Senior Specialist, Federal ServiceNow Business Analyst

We are seeking a Senior Specialist to join our Federal Advisory team. As part of this team, you will perform business analysis functions such as identifying business needs, planning business analysis activities, conducting stakeholder analysis, and defining requirements. You will also lead business process definition, re-engineering, and improvement efforts with key customer sponsors and stakeholders.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Performing BA functions such as business needs identification, business analysis planning, stakeholder analysis and change activities, and requirements analysis and design definition
  • Leading business process definition, re-engineering, improvement, and gap analysis of current/to-be processes with key customer sponsors and stakeholders
  • Maintaining requirements documentation to ensure all approved business requirements, use cases, process flows, and reporting requirements are up-to-date
  • Leading the flow of requirements from the product backlog into sprint planning, providing a controlled, joined-up overall view of the business and functional requirements at a detailed level
  • Serving as a liaison between business owners, end users, and IT partners, ensuring a cohesive approach, comprehensive solutions, and excellence in delivery; working with stakeholders, focus groups, and end users to analyze, evaluate, and develop business use cases and business process models to aid translation of business requirements into functional/technical requirements
  • Creating Wireframes / Mockups for user stories, developing and maintaining user stories leveraging ServiceNow, communicating requirements so that development teams can work effectively, and ensuring areas of complexity are understood and investigated appropriately to review opportunities, blockers, problems, and issues that arise; analyzing and verifying requirements against existing and planned product capabilities Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A minimum of three years of ITSM or ServiceNow project management experience; federal government consulting experience preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related discipline from an accredited college/university
  • Experience using Agile methodologies
  • Familiarity with implementing solutions on the ServiceNow platform
  • Solid understanding of Agile processes and methodologies, including the ability to properly write users stories and breaking down large stories into component parts
  • Experience of using business analysis tools/techniques to design and deliver business change
  • Experience with requirements elicitation or the configuration of the ServiceNow platform
  • Strong engagement, communication, and facilitation skills, including presentation and influencing skills
  • Ability to travel as required to support firm engagements
  • Citizenship required and an active Federal Government Secret Security Clearance Benefits:
