Job Description
We are seeking a talented ServiceNow Developer with strong expertise in Performance Analytics to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for customizing, developing, and maintaining dashboards, reports, KPIs, and scorecards using ServiceNow's Performance Analytics module, as well as working with other ServiceNow modules (e.g., Incident, Problem, Change) to deliver data‑driven insights and improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and implement ServiceNow Performance Analytics dashboards, indicators, widgets, and scorecards to provide actionable metrics.
- Develop data sources, indicators, breakdowns, and time‑series for tracking trends, targets, and goals.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into technical specifications (dashboards, reports, KPIs).
- Customize & configure core ServiceNow modules like Incident, Problem, Change, Service Catalog, etc., to feed into Performance Analytics.
- Create and maintain UI Policies, UI Actions, Business Rules, Script Includes, and other scripting as required.
- Work on integrations with external systems (REST, SOAP, MID Server) to bring in/out data for analytics.
- Ensure data integrity, optimize performance of dashboards and reports, and troubleshoot issues.
- Provide support during upgrades/patches, ensuring Performance Analytics features are compatible and stable.
- Document configurations, processes, and provide trainings / demos to end users or stakeholders.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 3‑5 years of experience in developing/implementing ServiceNow solutions.
- Working specifically with Performance Analytics (dashboards, indicators, reports).
- Strong scripting skills (JavaScript, Glide API, etc.).
- Experience with ServiceNow configuration and administration (CSA or equivalent).
- Experience integrating ServiceNow with other systems (REST, SOAP).
- Good understanding of ITIL processes is preferred.
- Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Service Portal development.
- Familiarity with predictive analytics/trend forecasting using Performance Analytics.
- Exposure to other modules like HRSD, ITOM, GRC, CSM etc.
- Knowledge of dashboard best practices and data visualization.
