The Role

We seek an experienced Senior Lead QA Engineer with deep expertise in ServiceNow and Automated Test Framework (ATF) for our ServiceNow development team. This role is ideal for a skilled hands-on QA engineer who thrives in a fast-paced, agile environment and drives quality through automation and continuous testing practices.

Main Responsibilities

• Lead QA and testing efforts for ServiceNow platform enhancements and integrations with other systems.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test cases using ServiceNow's ATF.
• Create and maintain test scripts for human testers.
• Perform unit and end-to-end testing of solutions built on the ServiceNow platform.
• Represent the QA perspective while working with developers to define a test-centric technical architecture.
• Work with our central QA team to integrate with end-to-end testing tools like Selenium.
• Collaborate with architects, developers, and product owners to define test strategies and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Take the lead on pre-emptively building tools and testing automation within the ServiceNow platform.
• Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily stand-ups to ensure QA alignment with development goals.
• Drive adoption of continuous testing practices across the ServiceNow development lifecycle.
• Mentor team members on QA practices and contribute to evolving QA best practices within the team.
• Analyze test results, identify root causes, and resolve issues with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in ServiceNow development, QA Engineering / Testing or similar roles.
• Minimum 2+ years of ServiceNow-specific experience, but broader QA Engineering experience is welcome.
• Strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow ATF.
• Experience integrating ATF with end-to-end testing frameworks.
• Proven experience working with a centralized QA testing team.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain US government suitability clearance as a condition of employment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, Git, or Azure DevOps.
• Experience with performance and load testing within ServiceNow is a plus.
• Background including ServiceNow development and ITSM, ITOM, CSM, or other ServiceNow modules is advantageous.
