Skilled IT ServiceNow Administrator/Developer

Job Overview

This role is for a skilled IT ServiceNow administrator/developer to join our team in Washington, DC and support our USSS Network Operations and Security Center (NOSC) proposal. The position will be a hybrid remote work arrangement.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement efficient IT service management strategies, plans, and delivery methods.
• Contribute recommendations for ITSM implementation, spanning across service management policies, guidelines, and processes.
• Work independently or collaboratively with remote teams and clients to achieve goals.
• Design and develop queries, reports, and dashboards in ServiceNow.
• Configure ServiceNow modules and forms effectively.
• Administer ServiceNow applications, including security and workflow updates.
• Design and develop scoped applications and service portals.
• Provide additional support based on expertise.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 3-5 years of experience, or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of overall IT experience.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience as a ServiceNow developer in various roles.
• Strong knowledge of the ServiceNow system.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Jelly, HTTP, and XML.
• Experience with REST and SOAP services.
• Understanding of ITIL principles and/or ITIL certification.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• ServiceNow Administrator Certification.
• ITIL Foundation Certified.
• ServiceNow Developer Certifications.
• ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist.

Additional Requirements

US citizenship is required to obtain a Top Secret Clearance.
