ServiceNow Platform Configuration Specialist

We are looking for a highly skilled ServiceNow developer to join our team at the NIH. The successful candidate will be responsible for configuring our ServiceNow platform to meet the needs of our users.

The ideal candidate will have experience administering a ServiceNow instance, including delegating groups, workflows, business rules, UI pages, UI actions, UI policies, ACLs, catalog items, and updating existing solutions. They will also have experience developing on the ServiceNow platform, including creating and customizing core applications such as incident, problem, change, service request, and service catalog.

The responsibilities of this role include:

• Collaborate with the project manager to establish timelines, specifications, and budget.
• Determine problem areas within the current framework and recommend solutions.
• Develop processes with ServiceNow that improve user access and navigation.
• Implement and monitor changes to ensure a smooth transition.
• Conduct staff training on new procedures.
• Provide regular updates on project status to stakeholders.
• Troubleshoot issues and perform bug fixes for clients and end-users.
• Experience implementing systems using the Agile/Scrum methodology.
