About the Role
The System Administrator is responsible for maintaining the stability and usability of the ServiceNow platform. They will perform application maintenance, manage support for incidents related to ServiceNow applications, and contribute to ServiceNow software releases by delivering configuration tasks and features.
This role requires sound technical ability that enables the fulfillment of common configuration and maintenance tasks. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and resolve incidents against ServiceNow applications
- Perform routine maintenance to include performance monitoring and error identification/ remediation
- Manage Update Set creation and migration
- Schedule and verify instance clones
- Participate ServiceNow upgrade planning and execution
- Manage Instance Security, User/Group Access/Access Control Lists
- Contribute to ServiceNow releases
- Adhere to internal standards, policies, and procedures Requirements Qualifications:
- U.S. Citizenship
- Active Secret clearance. Must be able to obtain a TS/SCI clearance
- Must be able to obtain DHS Suitability
- Minimum 8 Years' systems administration experience
- Minimum 4 Years' experience with ServiceNow Implementations
- Minimum 4 Years of experience with Application Experience:
- Knowledge of the principles, methods, and techniques used in ServiceNow systems administration and support. Desired Skills:
- Experience supporting Intelligence, DoD, or DHS Customers
- Experience with process development and deployment
- Agular JS
- Experience in JavaScript or related application development
- Experience with ServiceNow Development APIs
- Web Service Integration (API Web Services) experience
- Ldap Integration experience
- Single Sign-on configuration and administration
- SQL Experience Required Education:
BS Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, OR Computer Systems Engineering. Two years of related work experience may be substituted for each year of degree level education. Benefits
