As a highly skilled ServiceNow expert, you will work independently to transform our ServiceNow implementation, aligning it with IT policies, processes, and procedures. You will resolve incidents and fulfill service catalog requests assigned to the support team, manage users, groups, roles, categories, and more within ServiceNow.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Implement ITIL best practices across ServiceNow
- Resolve complex incidents and fulfill service requests
- Manage user provisioning, role assignments, and data security
- Suggest enhancements to ServiceNow's capabilities and roadmap
- Review usage and identify opportunities to boost efficiency
- Lead new module implementations through design, build, and launch phases
- Maintain ServiceNow instance compliance through regular updates
- Establish health monitoring and response plans for availability
- Manage subscription licensing and anticipate future needs
- Create a data ownership charter and assign clear responsibilities
- Oversee ServiceNow system and data security, adhering to strict standards
- Promote user self-service through policy establishment and techniques like flow designer
- Establish integrations with other systems for accurate and relevant data
- Provide on-call support outside regular business hours as needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
- 8+ years of relevant work experience
- Experience with ServiceNow environments, Admin, and development
- Familiarity with abstract datasets, analytics, and data visualization
- Service Catalog creation, Order Guides, workflows, and CSS, HTML, JavaScript skills
- Workflow & Flow Designer expertise
- API integration using SOAP, REST, and mobile agent configuration
- Certification in ITIL and/or ServiceNow preferred
- Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, XML, and web-based programming
- ITIL foundation concepts and skills in ITOM and ITBM
- Working knowledge of ServiceNow customer support and Instance Security Center
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams, identify proposed change impacts, and communicate technical approaches to business audiences
- Able to execute ServiceNow platform version updates, identify complex problems, and implement solutions
