Senior ServiceNow Developer/Administrator

Job Description

We seek an experienced ServiceNow administrator/developer to support our US Coast Guard program. This role offers flexible remote work options and requires a high level of technical expertise.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement IT service management strategies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Contribute to ServiceNow implementation by providing expert-level recommendations on service management policies, guidelines, and processes.
• Collaborate with remote teams and clients to achieve shared objectives.
• Design and develop complex queries, reports, and dashboards.
• Configure ServiceNow modules and forms to meet organizational needs.
• Administer ServiceNow applications, ensuring seamless security and workflow configurations.
• Develop scoped applications and a service portal that aligns with business requirements.
• Offer subject matter expertise to address emerging challenges.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree with 12+ years of experience or equivalent expertise.
• Minimum 8 years of overall IT experience.
• At least 6+ years of experience as a ServiceNow developer in various capacities.
• Thorough understanding of the ServiceNow System.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Jelly, HTTP, XML.
• Experience with REST, SOAP services, and related technologies.
• Familiarity with ITIL principles and/or ITIL certification.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, customer-centric approach.
• Certified System Administrator.

Preferred Qualifications:

• BS in Computer Science preferred.
• ITIL Foundation certification.
• ServiceNow Developer Certifications.
• ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist.

Clearance Required:

Active Secret clearance is required.
