ServiceNow CMDB Architect

Job Description:

Experience: 10+ years (Mandatory skills: SNOW + ITSM + ITOM + CMDB + Discovery)

Looking for an experienced ServiceNow CMDB Architect with deep expertise in ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, and Discovery. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and optimizing the CMDB architecture, ensuring data integrity, and integrating discovery processes to support enterprise-level IT operations and service management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect, implement, and maintain ServiceNow CMDB to support ITOM and ITSM initiatives.
• Define and enforce CMDB governance policies, data models, and CI class relationships.
• Lead CMDB data normalization, reconciliation, and discovery integration to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
• Collaborate with IT and business teams to align CMDB architecture with organizational objectives.
• Configure and optimize Discovery, Service Mapping, and IntegrationHub components.
• Troubleshoot CMDB and Discovery-related issues, ensuring smooth operations.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to ServiceNow developers and administrators.
• Develop documentation, workflows, and best practices for ongoing CMDB management.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in ServiceNow, including strong expertise in:
• ServiceNow (SNOW)
• ITSM (IT Service Management)
• ITOM (IT Operations Management)
• CMDB (Configuration Management Database)
• Discovery & Service Mapping
• Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale CMDB and Discovery solutions.
• Strong knowledge of ITIL processes and CMDB best practices.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
