Job Title: ServiceNow Product Owner Consultant
About the Job:
We are seeking a highly skilled ServiceNow Product Owner Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for consulting and analyzing complex assignments and projects to deliver products that meet business objectives and improve customer satisfaction.
You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to convey the overall business vision into technical requirements. You will also act as a resource to applicable stakeholders to provide expertise on more complex technical requirements.
This is an excellent opportunity to showcase your skills and experience in ServiceNow Administration, Business Analysis, Project Management, or Agile-related roles within a development team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM), IT Operations Management (ITOM) or related domains or ServiceNow modules.

Responsibilities:
- Champion and enhance organizational initiatives by positively influencing and supporting change management and/or departmental/enterprise initiatives.
- Serve as a resource to team members and applicable internal/external stakeholders on more complex assignments/projects.
- Identify and recommend process improvements that significantly reduce workloads or improve quality.
- Consults/analyze/lead on more complex assignments and/or projects.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders and management to gather and support prioritization of complex business requirements, providing recommendations, managing expectations and communicating progress effectively.
- Prioritize the product backlog to ensure the development team is focused on the highest value work.
- Prioritize features, enhancements, and bug fixes based on business needs, customer feedback, and technical considerations.
- Consult and act as a resource to appropriate internal/external stakeholders to assess and propose solutions to stated business problems.
- Translate and convey the overall business vision into more complex technical requirements and tactics for product development.
- Clearly articulate, document, and validate more complex technical requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage dependencies.
- Provide direction and collaborate effectively with appropriate stakeholders on complex issues and conflicts that impact time, cost, scope, quality and risk of assigned projects.
- Escalate more complex issues/conflicts to management as needed.
- Partner with Platform Owner and other stakeholders to understand Process Owner needs, emerging trends to refine the roadmap.
- Stay updated on the latest ServiceNow features, capabilities, and best practices to continuously improve the platform.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's).
- Proven track record as a strong collaborator and communicator.
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret both internal and external documents such as general media/publications, professional journals, technical procedures, governmental regulations, policies, proposals, and standard operating procedures.
- Confident, comfortable communicator with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in IT Service Management (ITSM), IT Operations Management (ITOM) or related domains or ServiceNow modules.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail while balancing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
