ServiceNow Technical Solution Specialist

As a highly skilled ServiceNow Developer, you will be responsible for configuring, administering and scripting the ServiceNow platform. This role requires collaboration with leadership to develop technical solutions that meet the business needs of our organization.

This position involves working on configuration/customization of the ServiceNow platform, including creating workflows, flow designers, business rules and client scripts.

• Create service requests from customer requirements including requests, request items and tasks using workflows to manage data flows from the customer to the support teams providing the service.

• Uses scripting tools and ServiceNow functionality to create scripts that automate repetitive tasks being done in ServiceNow.
• Create requirements definitions and technical specifications documentation.
• Perform integrations and process automation using ServiceNow and other key systems.
• Load, manipulate, and maintain data between ServiceNow and other systems.
• Analyze and understand user requirements and current procedures to improve system capabilities, automate process workflows and address scheduling limitations throughout the development and delivery of the ServiceNow roadmap.
• Basic understanding of ITIL/ITSM processes.

This role is ideal for those with a BA/BS Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Electronics Technology, IT Management or a directly related field from an accredited college or university.

A minimum of one year of experience as a ServiceNow Developer is required. ServiceNow Admin and Developer certification is preferred. Required Skills and Qualifications

• Knowledge of Active Directory / LDAP.
• Knowledge of disciplined software release build/deploy processes.
• Knowledge of integrating with internal and external applications and systems.
• Knowledge of cross-browser and platform compatibility requirements.
• Knowledge of Javascript, HTML, CSS and good web design practices.
• Ability to effectively communicate within the team.
• Ability to demonstrate analytical and problem solving skills.
• Ability to successfully design, develop, and support web-based applications and websites.
• Ability to interface and develop with Java/J2EE backend technologies.
