Expert ServiceNow Developer/Administrator

Job Title: ServiceNow Administrator/Developer SME

We are seeking a skilled ServiceNow Administrator/Developer Subject Matter Expert to support our US Coast Guard program. This position is fully remote, offering flexibility and autonomy. About the Role:

• The successful candidate will develop and implement IT service management strategies to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
• They will contribute to IT service management recommendations for implementation consideration across service management policies, guidelines, and processes.
• This role requires collaboration with remote teams and clients to achieve project goals.
• The ideal candidate will design and develop queries, reports, and dashboards using ServiceNow modules and forms.
• They must configure ServiceNow applications, including security and workflow configurations.
• This includes developing scoped applications and service portals using ServiceNow. Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement IT service management strategies to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
• Contribute to IT service management recommendations for implementation consideration across service management policies, guidelines, and processes.
• Work collaboratively with remote teams and clients to achieve project goals.
• Design and develop queries, reports, and dashboards using ServiceNow modules and forms.
• Configure ServiceNow applications, including security and workflow configurations.
• Develop scoped applications and service portals using ServiceNow.
• Provide subject matter expertise and support as needed. Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree and 12+ years of experience (or equivalent).
• Minimum 8 years of overall IT experience.
• 6+ years of experience as a ServiceNow developer in various roles.
• Thorough knowledge of the ServiceNow system.
• Experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Jelly, HTTP, XML.
• REST and SOAP services experience.
• ITIL and/or ITIL Certified understanding.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Certified System Administrator. Preferred Skills and Experience:
• BS Computer Science preferred.
• ITIL Foundation Certified.
• ServiceNow Developer Certifications.
• ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist. Location: RemoteClearance Required: Active Secret clearance required
