ServiceNow System Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Network/System Engineer to work with our client in the financial industry. This 12-month contract position involves analyzing, designing, configuring, and implementing software development projects using ServiceNow ITSM, ITOM. Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and design software development projects with ServiceNow ITSM, ITOM
• Work on multiple projects and provide technical guidance on complex initiatives
• Oversee integration of information into the CMDB from ServiceNow Discovery and APIs
• Utilize experience in creating APIs for seamless communication between ServiceNow and other systems
• Design and implement robust APIs for efficient data exchange
• Support standup, configuration, and implementation of ServiceNow's ITSM, ITOM modules
• Create and maintain forms, reports, views, workflows, groups, and roles
• Create and configure tool integrations with ServiceNow (Netcool, Kafka, etc.)
• Design, create, and catalog business process flows
• Perform tasks to design and configure ServiceNow functions to meet operational needs Requirements:
• 7+ years of hands-on programming experience
• 5+ years of experience with expert knowledge of ServiceNow CMDB, ITSM
• 7+ years of experience working as an ITSM Developer
• B.S. in Computer Science or similar
• Proficiency with API development (SOAP OR REST)
• Proficient in core tables, Glide, scripting, UI actions, scheduled jobs, business rules, client scripts, data imports, custom apps, and development methodologies
• Expertise in ServiceNow development, JavaScript, Angular JS or React JS
• Proficiency in ServiceNow Flow Designer
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with complex and global projects
• Very strong analytical skills Desired Skills:
• ITIL Foundations certified or higher
