Position- ServiceNow Backend Developer

Location- Santa Clara, CA (ONSITE)

ServiceNow Backend Developer with strong skills in server-side development and hands-on expertise in UI Builder / Now Experience framework. The ideal candidate will design, build, and optimize workflows, integrations, and business logic on the backend while also contributing to modern, configurable UI experiences for end users.

Required Skills & Experience

9+ years of ServiceNow development experience.

Strong proficiency in JavaScript and ServiceNow Glide API (server-side).

Proven experience with Business Rules, Script Includes, Data Policies, Scheduled Jobs, ACLs.

Hands-on experience with UI Builder and Now Experience framework for building custom workspaces and pages.

Familiarity with data integrations (REST/SOAP APIs, JSON, XML).

Strong understanding of ServiceNow data model (tables, relationships, CMDB concepts).

Knowledge of Flow Designer and IntegrationHub.

Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills.

ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).

ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD).

Experience with Service Portal migration to UI Builder
