We are looking for a ServiceNow Developer / Consultant with strong experience in ITSM and CMDB modules. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, configuring, and maintaining ServiceNow applications and integrations that support IT infrastructure projects. This role requires a mix of hands-on technical skills, problem-solving, and a solid understanding of ITIL-based service management processes.
Roles and Responsibilities
Design, configure, and customize ServiceNow ITSM and CMDB modules (Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Discovery, Service Mapping).
Develop and maintain Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions, and Flow Designer workflows.
Maintain and enhance the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) — including CI classes, relationships, reconciliation, and data accuracy.
Work on integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, MID Server, and IntegrationHub spokes.
Configure and manage Service Catalog items, request workflows, and SLAs.
Collaborate with architects, project managers, and infrastructure teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Perform testing, debugging, and documentation for new and existing ServiceNow implementations.
Support upgrades, patching, and platform maintenance while adhering to governance standards.
Ensure development aligns with ServiceNow and ITIL best practices.
Key Skills
Strong hands-on experience in ServiceNow ITSM (Incident, Problem, Change, Request).
Expertise in CMDB configuration, Discovery, and Service Mapping.
Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide APIs, Flow Designer, and ServiceNow development tools.
Good understanding of ITIL processes and workflow automation.
Experience with Service Portal and basic UI customization.
Knowledge of integration methods (REST, SOAP, MID Server).
Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and analytical skills.
Certifications (Preferred)
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) – Mandatory
Certified Implementation Specialist – ITSM or CMDB – Preferred
ITIL v4 Foundation Certification – Preferred
