Our team at lean-it-inc is seeking a highly skilled ServiceNow Asset Management Analyst to join our ranks. In this role, you will be responsible for the comprehensive management and support of IT Asset Management (ITAM) processes within the ServiceNow platform.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of ITIL processes, particularly in ITAM and CMDB relationships. They will also have hands-on experience with ServiceNow Asset Management (HAM/SAM), as well as proficiency in Excel/Sheets, data analysis, and reporting.
A key responsibility of this role will be to oversee the entire lifecycle of IT assets, from discovery to disposal, ensuring accuracy and reliability of asset data throughout. The analyst will work closely with procurement, finance, and IT teams to ensure adherence to established asset policies and licensing agreements.
To succeed in this position, you must be able to configure, customize, and maintain ServiceNow ITAM modules, specifically Hardware Asset Management (HAM) and Software Asset Management (SAM). You will also need to develop and manage asset workflows, business rules, catalog items, and integrations (e.g., CMDB, Discovery, SCCM, JAMF).

We are looking for someone who can provide support for data imports, validate discovery results, and reconcile asset records. You will also need to perform regular audits and reconciliations to ensure data integrity between the CMDB, SAM, and procurement systems.
As an Asset Management Specialist, you will create and maintain dashboards and reports for effective asset tracking, utilization, and compliance metrics. You will identify and implement opportunities for process automation to enhance data efficiency and reduce manual effort.
