Predominantly remote with the exception of four onsite visits per year to our client’s offices in either Washington D.C. or Reston, VA with advance notice.

Candidates must reside in Maryland, Washington, DC, Virginia, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Delaware, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Florida, or Texas.
Overview and Key Responsibilities:
Join our client’s dynamic team as a ServiceNow Developer, where you will be instrumental in leading the development and implementation of the ServiceNow ITSM solution. This role also involves providing technical guidance and mentorship to team members. As our client is amid implementing ServiceNow, this is a hands-on role where you'll directly contribute to standing up new systems, importing foundational data, and working closely with business owners to translate their needs into effective ServiceNow solutions. Key responsibilities include:

Lead the development and implementation of ServiceNow solutions, including integrations and workflow automation.

Participate in the design and review of technical solutions and architecture.

Develop user-centric workflows and intuitive interfaces within the ServiceNow platform.

Work closely with project managers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Collaborate with other developers and architects to ensure solutions are delivered on time and with the highest quality.

Mentor and provide technical guidance to team members.

Identify and resolve technical issues and roadblocks.

Assist in troubleshooting, resolving production issues, and ensuring platform stability.

Troubleshoot and debug issues with existing solutions.

Stay current on ServiceNow's best practices, trends, and new functionality.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with other SNOW modules and capabilities, other systems and processes.

Contribute to the development and maintenance of technical documentation.

Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to ensure code quality.

Perform other duties as needed or assigned.
Required Qualifications
-
5+ years of experience as a ServiceNow Developer and Architect.

Accomplished with integrating ServiceNow and other systems using APIs or other integration methods.

Adept with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

Experience with ITIL processes and service management best practices.

ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).

Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Experience with Agile development methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications
-
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

ServiceNow Certified Application Developer certification.
-
ServiceNow Associate, Professional, or Expert level certifications are highly preferred.
-
Familiarity with other ServiceNow modules such as ITOM, CSM, CMDB, SPM, or GRC.
-
Experience in the healthcare industry.
