Compensation: $60 – $65 per hour Position Summary
Capital Technology Alliance is seeking a highly experienced Senior ServiceNow Developer to manage the full lifecycle of ServiceNow product development, platform enhancement, and integration projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven background in ServiceNow development, IT product management, and cross-functional leadership within enterprise or government environments. Key Responsibilities
Product Development & Lifecycle Management
- Lead ServiceNow product development from initial planning to deployment and post-implementation support.
- Translate business requirements into actionable technical specifications and development plans.
- Manage development timelines, release schedules, and feature delivery.
- Monitor platform performance and prepare release readiness reports.
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Lead and coordinate multiple technical and business teams, including vendors.
- Collaborate with enterprise architects, developers, and business stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery.
- Drive project execution and motivate teams to achieve development goals.
ServiceNow Platform Management
- Configure, enhance, and integrate various ServiceNow modules.
- Ensure adherence to ServiceNow best practices and organizational standards.
- Oversee API and data integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise systems.
CMDB & Discovery Tool Oversight
- Manage CMDB structure, data governance, and quality assurance.
- Oversee ServiceNow Discovery tool implementation and asset discovery processes.
- Ensure accuracy of configuration item (CI) and asset data across environments.
Agile & Iterative Delivery
- Support Agile delivery processes including backlog grooming, sprint planning, and sprint reviews.
- Adjust delivery plans based on stakeholder input and evolving business needs.
Governance, Compliance & Standards
- Ensure compliance with state IT governance requirements, including Florida IT rules (60GG-1 through 5, F.A.C.).
- Align ServiceNow activities with enterprise architecture, accessibility, and security standards.
Stakeholder Communication & Collaboration
- Communicate technical and functional information clearly to leadership and business users.
- Present updates on product functionality, metrics, and risk mitigation plans.
- Conduct training sessions and workshops for ServiceNow end-users.
Continuous Improvement & Quality Assurance
- Implement process and workflow improvements to optimize ServiceNow operations.
- Integrate user feedback to support continuous improvement and product enhancement.
- Monitor deliverable quality and ensure adherence to enterprise standards.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain up-to-date documentation for ServiceNow configurations, CMDB structures, and processes.
- Create reports on project status, risk management, and product readiness.
- Document lessons learned and provide recommendations for platform enhancement. Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in business process analysis and systems analysis.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Visio and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Experience with Microsoft DevOps or Azure DevOps preferred.
- Strong knowledge of data migration, change management, and release management.
- Understanding of testing, QA tools, and techniques.
- Experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
- Familiarity with Florida Administrative Code Rules 60GG-1 – 60GG-5 is desirable. Required Skills
- At least 7 years of experience in IT product development and lifecycle management.
- Strong leadership experience managing complex, multi-team projects in enterprise or government environments.
- Expert-level knowledge of ServiceNow platform development, implementation, and integrations.
- Proven experience managing CMDB data structures, governance, and Discovery tool setup.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience using collaborative tools such as SharePoint 365, Microsoft Project, and Azure DevOps. Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with enterprise architecture alignment and standards compliance.
- Experience in solution prototyping, testing, and production release validation.
- Proven ability to implement continuous improvement and delivery practices.
- Experience working in government IT environments or large-scale enterprise projects.
- Prior experience in ServiceNow end-user training or onboarding support. Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Required Certification: ServiceNow System Administrator Certification.
- Preferred Certifications:
- Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) – ServiceNow
- Project Management Professional (PMP)
