Job Description:

The Enterprise and Cyber Solutions (E&CS) Operation within Leidos' Defense Group has an opening for an ServiceNow Developer/Engineer for the Global Solutions Management – Operations II (GSM-O II) contract. This contract includes the Operations, Sustainment, Maintenance, Repair, and Defense of the Defense Information System Network (DISN) within the DOD Information Network (DODIN) in support of the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA). It also includes support to other key tasks for DISA, including the transformation of DISA's operational mission through innovation, and support to DISA's mission partners.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience
  • 4–8 years of professional experience (or 2–6 years with a Master's degree)
  • Active DoD Secret Clearance
  • Security+ or equivalent DoD 8570 IAT II certification (within 60 days of start)
  • ITIL Foundation understanding or certification
  • 2+ years of hands-on ServiceNow experience (standup, configuration, maintenance)
  • Experience with JIRA, Git, and Confluence
  • Experience in DoD environments with secure software development practices
  • Ability to commute to Scott AFB, IL; Ft. Meade, MD; or Ogden, UT as needed

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with AWS cloud implementations
  • Familiarity with DevOps/DevSecOps and CI/CD practices
  • Experience with automation tools such as Ansible
  • 5+ years of software engineering experience

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the standup, configuration, and implementation of ServiceNow's ITSM, ITOM, TSM, and TSOM modules
  • Creating and maintaining forms, reports, views, workflows, groups, and roles
  • Enhancing dashboards and reporting capabilities, including scheduled reports
  • Configuring tool integrations with ServiceNow (e.g., Elastic, Netcool, Kafka)
  • Coordinating and supporting application and platform upgrades
  • Assisting with the design, creation, and cataloging of business process flows
  • Collaborating with the ServiceNow development team to propose solutions based on business needs
  • Designing and configuring ServiceNow functions to meet operational requirements
  • Supporting business process re-engineering to transition ticketing and order management into ServiceNow
  • Identifying trends and patterns in customer data to improve user experience and network performance
  • Interacting with customers to address systems engineering technical considerations and resolve issues
