Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow Lead to drive design, development, and implementation of ServiceNow solutions. The ideal candidate will provide technical leadership, oversee platform governance, and ensure alignment of ServiceNow capabilities with business goals across ITSM, ITOM, SPM, and other modules.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end ServiceNow implementation and enhancement projects.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Design and develop custom applications, workflows, UI policies, client/server scripts , and integrations.
- Oversee the configuration and maintenance of modules such as ITSM, ITOM, SPM, HRSD, CSM , etc.
- Manage a team of ServiceNow developers, providing technical guidance and code reviews.
- Ensure adherence to best practices, coding standards, and platform governance.
- Integrate ServiceNow with third-party systems using REST/SOAP APIs, MID Server, or IntegrationHub .
- Support platform upgrades, patching, and performance optimization.
- Create and maintain documentation for all ServiceNow processes and customizations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in ServiceNow development, with at least 2+ years in a lead or senior role.
- Strong hands-on expertise in JavaScript, Glide API, Flow Designer, Business Rules, and UI Actions.
- Deep understanding of ServiceNow architecture, data model, and module interdependencies.
- Proven experience with ITSM, ITOM, and/or SPM implementations.
- Experience in integration (REST/SOAP APIs), scripting, and performance tuning.
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) – mandatory.
- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) or Application Developer (CAD) – preferred.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Flow Designer , Virtual Agent , CMDB , and Discovery .
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps pipeline integration (Jenkins, GitHub, etc.).
- Knowledge of Service Portal and UI customization .
- Exposure to ITIL processes and certifications (e.g., ITIL v4).
