Job Description:
We are seeking a seasoned ServiceNow Architect to lead the design and implementation of scalable, maintainable, and high-performing ServiceNow solutions across various modules. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth expertise in ServiceNow Architecture and Integration, with a strong focus on IT Service Management (ITSM) and IT Operations Management (ITOM) modules.
This role will be instrumental in designing solutions that drive IT operations, automation, and service delivery across the enterprise. The ServiceNow Architect will report to the Senior Director and Practice Leader and will be front-and-center in consulting engagements with our existing and potential new customers.
The ServiceNow Architect will be responsible for:
- Designing and architecting scalable, maintainable, and high-performing ServiceNow solutions across modules like ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, SecOps, and custom applications.
- Leading ServiceNow roadmap development and helping define governance for platform usage.
- Partnering with business stakeholders to gather requirements, define solution architecture, and ensure alignment with enterprise strategies.
- Creating and maintaining architectural diagrams, data models, and integration blueprints.
- Providing technical leadership and mentoring to developers and admins on best practices.
- Evaluating new features, plugins, and integrations and making recommendations for adoption.
- Ensuring platform security, compliance, performance, and scalability through proper design.
- Overseeing complex integrations with third-party systems using APIs, MID servers, and IntegrationHub.
- Leading design review sessions and ensuring development aligns with architectural standards.
- Managing upgrades and ensuring backward compatibility of customizations and integrations.
- Collaborating with ServiceNow product managers, business analysts, and enterprise architects.
- Facing off with Account Teams on technical matters related to ServiceNow.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you must have:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Master's preferred).
- 7 years of experience working with ServiceNow, including at least 3 years as an Architect.
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in at least one module - ITSM or ITOM.
- Strong understanding of ITIL frameworks and processes.
- Exposure to AI/ML capabilities within ServiceNow.
- Proven experience with ServiceNow application development, scripting, and workflows.
- Experience designing and integrating ServiceNow with enterprise systems.
- Deep knowledge of platform architecture, MID servers, ACLs, and service portal design.
- Excellent customer skills, comfortable influencing senior executives.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) or Certified Technical Architect (CTA).
- Experience with Agile or DevOps methodologies.
- Experience integrating external, non-ServiceNow AI/ML capabilities with ServiceNow.
- Familiarity with ITOM integrations with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- ITIL v3 or v4 Certification a plus.
