Senior ServiceNow Architect Job
We are seeking an experienced Senior ServiceNow Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth expertise in ServiceNow Architecture and Integration, with a strong focus on IT Service Management (ITSM) and IT Operations Management (ITOM) modules.
This role will be instrumental in designing scalable and efficient solutions that drive IT operations, automation, and service delivery across the enterprise.
The Senior ServiceNow Architect reports to the Senior Director and Practice Leader. This role will be front-and-center in consulting engagements with existing and potential new customers.
- Design and Architect Scalable Solutions: Design and architect scalable, maintainable, and high-performing ServiceNow solutions across modules like ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, SecOps, and custom applications.
- Lead Roadmap Development and Governance: Lead ServiceNow roadmap development and help define governance for platform usage.
- Partner with Business Stakeholders: Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements, define solution architecture, and ensure alignment with enterprise strategies.
- Create Architectural Diagrams: Create and maintain architectural diagrams, data models, and integration blueprints.
- Provide Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and mentoring to developers and admins on best practices.
- Evaluate New Features: Evaluate new features, plugins, and integrations and make recommendations for adoption.
- Ensure Platform Security: Ensure platform security, compliance, performance, and scalability through proper design.
- Oversee Complex Integrations: Oversee complex integrations with third-party systems using APIs, MID servers, and IntegrationHub.
- Lead Design Review Sessions: Lead design review sessions and ensure development aligns with architectural standards.
- Manage Upgrades: Manage upgrades and ensure backward compatibility of customizations and integrations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Master's preferred).
- 7 years of experience working with ServiceNow, including at least 3 years as an Architect.
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in at least one module - ITSM or ITOM, (HRSD not applicable at this time.)
- Strong understanding of ITIL frameworks and processes.
- Exposure to AI/ML capabilities within ServiceNow (e.g., Predictive Intelligence).
- Proven experience with ServiceNow application development, scripting, and workflows.
- Experience designing and integrating ServiceNow with enterprise systems (e.g., Active Directory, CMDB, Monitoring Tools, HR Systems).
- Deep knowledge of platform architecture, MID servers, ACLs, and service portal design.
- Excellent customer skills, comfortable influencing senior executives.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) or Certified Technical Architect (CTA).
- Experience with Agile or DevOps methodologies.
- Experience integrating external, non-ServiceNow AI/ML capabilities with ServiceNow
- Familiarity with ITOM integrations with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- ITIL v3 or v4 Certification a plus.
