Job Description & Requirements
Maximus Aidvantage seeks a strong architect/developer to lead ServiceNow instance implementation and maintenance. The ideal candidate has a clear understanding of ITSM and ITIL processes and can apply them within the ServiceNow platform.
The position requires coordination with technical teams, internal and external stakeholders, and presenting use cases and providing expert guidance on implementing the solution.
The person must demonstrate a willingness to learn new offerings from ServiceNow and overcome technical challenges in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee and interface with developers to design, develop, test, and implement critical functionality and POCs.
- Work with clients to create strategies and frameworks.
- Architect and design application solutions.
- Guide developers.
- Provide hands-on development support.
- Design software components from business requirements.
- Document and diagram application functionality from business requirements.
Program Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, perform gap analysis, and design deployment strategies aligned with ITSM/ITIL processes.
- Configure and customize ServiceNow applications, including workflows, reports, integrations, and custom app development using App Engine.
- Provide architectural guidance, hands-on development, and ongoing system maintenance using ServiceNow best practices.
- Troubleshoot deployment issues, maintain testing protocols for upgrades, and ensure system performance meets operational targets.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including system design, specifications, and operational procedures.
- Support the full software development lifecycle and contribute to project artifacts and continuous improvement initiatives.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- 7-10 years of relevant professional experience required.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience considered in lieu of degree.
Program Specific Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university is required.
- At least five (7) years of IT experience in an enterprise environment.
- 3+ years of proven architecture, functional, and technical knowledge, configuration, and implementation of ServiceNow.
- Proven track record of multiple large-scale ServiceNow implementations, including version upgrades and project scoping.
- Able to demonstrate experience using the App Engine Management Center.
- Proficiency in server-side and client-side scripting is crucial.
- Experience with key integration technologies is essential.
- Deep understanding of the ServiceNow platform, specifically ITOM, ITAM, SPM, GRC, and CMDB, is critical.
- ServiceNow Implementation certification and ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification are required.
- Functional knowledge and implementation experience of IT Service Management (ITSM) frameworks and demonstrated project management skills and experience working directly with customers and clients are necessary.
- Expert knowledge of ServiceNow performance, availability monitoring, and analysis, as well as configuration management, is required.
Additional Requirements:
- Must be eligible to obtain Government Clearance.
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- Must currently reside in the U.S.
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
- Must not be delinquent or in default on any federal student loans.
- Employment and continued employment are contingent upon obtaining and maintaining a favorable clearance.
