Overview

As a Lead ServiceNow Platform Administrator, you will be at the forefront of configuring, managing, and enhancing our ServiceNow platform to meet operational demands. Your expertise will ensure seamless integration with various systems, while providing exceptional user support and training. By developing efficient automation workflows and maintaining platform integrity, you will play a crucial role in achieving organizational objectives and optimizing service delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Configure and maintain the ServiceNow platform to support operational requirements and service delivery metrics.
  • Proactively monitor platform performance, ensuring stability, security, and responsiveness.
  • Design and implement custom workflows, forms, scripts, and automation processes to enhance efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues while collaborating with various technical teams.
  • Manage user profiles, roles, and permissions to uphold secure access control.
  • Oversee platform updates and upgrades, coordinating with stakeholders to minimize disruptions.
  • Deliver training and ongoing support to teams and end users on utilizing ServiceNow effectively.
  • Integrate ServiceNow with third-party systems, ensuring data workflows are seamless and efficient.
  • Create impactful reports and dashboards to monitor operational metrics and service level agreement adherence.
  • Maintain compliance with data security policies and relevant regulations during platform management.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for ServiceNow, providing insights on best practices and potential improvements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience in ServiceNow administration (at least 2 years will be considered).
  • Mandatory ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a ServiceNow Administrator, including configuration of Incident Management, Change Management, and Reporting.
  • Proven experience in developing custom workflows and automating tasks.
  • Ability to pass background checks as required.

Minimum Skills

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong expertise in ServiceNow administration, configuration, and scripting.
  • Experience with integrating ServiceNow and external systems through APIs and automation best practices.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Capability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment; adaptable and quick to learn.
  • Self-motivated with a strong ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Discretion in handling sensitive and confidential information.
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools such as Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • ServiceNow certifications in advanced modules like Certified Application Developer or Certified Implementation Specialist.
  • Experience with ServiceNow implementation in public sector or enterprise healthcare environments.
  • Knowledge of ITIL framework and alignment with ITSM best practices.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow's advanced reporting and analytics features.
