Superlanet is seeking a Senior ServiceNow Developer to lead system enhancements, mentor junior analysts, and partner with clinical and IT stakeholders for our healthcare client in the Bay Area. This is a direct-hire opportunity that will require quarterly travel. This role goes beyond development\u2014it requires a strong communicator and technical leader who can drive projects from concept through implementation, ensure platform excellence, and foster collaboration across teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of new and existing ServiceNow modules (ITSM, HRSD, FSM, CSM, etc.).
  • Communicate effectively with business and technical teams to gather requirements, translate needs into technical solutions, and present updates to stakeholders.
  • Oversee system enhancements and upgrades, ensuring stability, scalability, and adherence to best practices.
  • Mentor and train junior ServiceNow developers and analysts, fostering skill development, code quality, and professional growth.
  • Serve as project lead for ServiceNow initiatives\u2014coordinating timelines, delegating tasks, and ensuring successful delivery.
  • Develop and maintain custom integrations (e.g., MECM, Lawson, REST/SOAP APIs) to streamline enterprise workflows.
  • Champion process improvement, identifying opportunities to optimize ITSM operations and enhance user experience.
  • Ensure data integrity and CMDB accuracy across the platform.
  • Support and troubleshoot complex issues, conducting root-cause analysis and implementing sustainable solutions.
  • Collaborate within Agile teams, participating in sprint planning, code reviews, and testing cycles.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of ServiceNow development and administration experience.
  • Proven experience leading projects and mentoring junior developers.
  • Strong communication skills\u2014able to clearly articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Proficiency in web technologies: XML, HTML, CSS, AJAX, REST/SOAP, JSON.
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (required).
  • Experience with ITSM modules; Discovery and CMDB experience preferred.
  • ITIL Foundation certification or higher (preferred).
  • Prior healthcare industry experience (preferred).
  • Bachelor\u2019s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

Benefits
