ServiceNow Administrator/Developer Specialist

Overview

GovCIO is excited to announce an opportunity for a ServiceNow Administrator/Developer Specialist to join our dynamic team supporting the US Coast Guard program. This role offers the flexibility of fully remote work.

Responsibilities

• Shape ITSM strategy, planning, and service delivery to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
• Provide actionable ITSM recommendations encompassing service management policies, guidelines, and processes.
• Thrive both independently and collaboratively with remote teams and clients.
• Design and create queries, reports, and dashboards to enhance service visibility.
• Configure and optimize ServiceNow modules and forms tailored for user needs.
• Manage and administer ServiceNow applications, including workflow and security settings updates.
• Develop scoped applications and engaging service portals.
• Offer expert support based on your subject matter expertise.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required, accompanied by a minimum of 12 years in a related field or commensurate experience.

Required Skills and Experience

• At least 8 years of overall IT experience.
• A minimum of 6 years in various ServiceNow developer roles.
• In-depth knowledge of the ServiceNow platform.
• Proficiency with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Jelly, HTTP, and XML.
• Experience working with REST and SOAP services.
• Understanding of ITIL principles; ITIL certification is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• ServiceNow Administrator Certification required.

Clearance Required: Public Trust or Secret clearance.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• BS in Computer Science is preferred.
• ITIL Foundation Certified.
• ServiceNow Developer Certifications.
• ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist.

Posted Pay Range

The range provided reflects compensation expectations at the start of employment; however, actual pay may vary based on individualized factors such as market location, job-related skills, education, and experience. Total compensation might also include other compensation elements discussed during the hiring process.
