Job Summary
This role is focused on providing expertise in ServiceNow administration and development, supporting the US Coast Guard program.
Key Responsibilities
- Craft IT service management strategies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Offer recommendations for implementing best practices in service management policies, guidelines, and processes.
- Work collaboratively with remote teams and clients, demonstrating adaptability and strong communication skills.
- Design and develop data-driven insights through queries, reports, and dashboards.
- Configure and customize ServiceNow modules and forms to meet business requirements.
- Administer ServiceNow applications, ensuring security and workflow configurations are up-to-date.
- Develop scoped applications and a service portal that meet client needs.
- Provide expert guidance based on subject matter expertise.
Requirements
A bachelor's degree and 12+ years of experience or equivalent expertise.
Necessary Skills and Qualifications
- A minimum of 8 years of overall IT experience.
- At least 6+ years of experience as a ServiceNow developer in various roles.
- Detailed knowledge of the ServiceNow System.
- Familiarity with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Jelly, HTTP, XML.
- Experience with REST and SOAP services.
- An understanding of ITIL principles.
- Strong interpersonal and customer-centric attitude.
- Certified System Administrator.
Clearance Required: An active Secret clearance is necessary.
