Job Summary

This role is focused on providing expertise in ServiceNow administration and development, supporting the US Coast Guard program.

Key Responsibilities

  • Craft IT service management strategies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Offer recommendations for implementing best practices in service management policies, guidelines, and processes.
  • Work collaboratively with remote teams and clients, demonstrating adaptability and strong communication skills.
  • Design and develop data-driven insights through queries, reports, and dashboards.
  • Configure and customize ServiceNow modules and forms to meet business requirements.
  • Administer ServiceNow applications, ensuring security and workflow configurations are up-to-date.
  • Develop scoped applications and a service portal that meet client needs.
  • Provide expert guidance based on subject matter expertise.

Requirements

A bachelor's degree and 12+ years of experience or equivalent expertise.

Necessary Skills and Qualifications

  • A minimum of 8 years of overall IT experience.
  • At least 6+ years of experience as a ServiceNow developer in various roles.
  • Detailed knowledge of the ServiceNow System.
  • Familiarity with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Jelly, HTTP, XML.
  • Experience with REST and SOAP services.
  • An understanding of ITIL principles.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer-centric attitude.
  • Certified System Administrator.

Clearance Required: An active Secret clearance is necessary.
