ServiceNow Technical Consultant Position
We are seeking an experienced Technical Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our ServiceNow team, you will be responsible for executing technical roles, including system administrator, quality assurance tester, implementer, and developer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business consultants to refine stories and align technical work with process goals.
- Provide technical oversight and guidance to the implementation team.
- Develop and maintain existing and new service catalogs and related workflows.
- Implement software solutions using ServiceNow tools and best practices.
- Lead workshops, tech solutioning, development, and unit testing for various ServiceNow modules.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and knowledge transfer materials.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and support sprint deliverables.
- Monitor health, usage, and overall compliance of ServiceNow and its integrated applications.
- Load, manipulate, and maintain data between ServiceNow and other systems.
- ServiceNow ITOM and ITAM Asset Management.
- Execute discovery runs that mirror development work to ensure like for like functionality and validate data collection.
- Configure Advanced Shipment Notification (ASN) from a vendor for automatic asset creation.
- Assist with data loads, including stockroom creation.
Requirements:
To be considered for this position, you must have:
- 4+ years experience working as a fulfiller on ServiceNow.
- Advanced skill in configuring and supporting ServiceNow.
- Current certifications in ServiceNow System Administrator, Certified Implementation Specialist - Discovery, and Certified Implementation Specialist - SAM.
- Strong ITIL methodology competency.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work remotely and largely unsupervised.
- Experience producing and delivering written requirements and creating and maintaining technical documentation.
- Experience producing and executing test scripts and test plans.
- Ability to work on multiple priorities and/or projects simultaneously.
- Strong team player with ability to build positive and collaborative relationships within the organization.
- Willingness to develop professionally and eager to learn.
