ServiceNow Technical Consultant Position

We are seeking an experienced Technical Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our ServiceNow team, you will be responsible for executing technical roles, including system administrator, quality assurance tester, implementer, and developer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business consultants to refine stories and align technical work with process goals.
  • Provide technical oversight and guidance to the implementation team.
  • Develop and maintain existing and new service catalogs and related workflows.
  • Implement software solutions using ServiceNow tools and best practices.
  • Lead workshops, tech solutioning, development, and unit testing for various ServiceNow modules.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and knowledge transfer materials.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and support sprint deliverables.
  • Monitor health, usage, and overall compliance of ServiceNow and its integrated applications.
  • Load, manipulate, and maintain data between ServiceNow and other systems.
  • ServiceNow ITOM and ITAM Asset Management.
  • Execute discovery runs that mirror development work to ensure like for like functionality and validate data collection.
  • Configure Advanced Shipment Notification (ASN) from a vendor for automatic asset creation.
  • Assist with data loads, including stockroom creation.

Requirements:

To be considered for this position, you must have:

  • 4+ years experience working as a fulfiller on ServiceNow.
  • Advanced skill in configuring and supporting ServiceNow.
  • Current certifications in ServiceNow System Administrator, Certified Implementation Specialist - Discovery, and Certified Implementation Specialist - SAM.
  • Strong ITIL methodology competency.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work remotely and largely unsupervised.
  • Experience producing and delivering written requirements and creating and maintaining technical documentation.
  • Experience producing and executing test scripts and test plans.
  • Ability to work on multiple priorities and/or projects simultaneously.
  • Strong team player with ability to build positive and collaborative relationships within the organization.
  • Willingness to develop professionally and eager to learn.
