ServiceNow Developer – App Enhancement & Store Submission

We are looking to hire an experienced ServiceNow Developer to finalize and enhance an existing ServiceNow Applet that integrates directly with our enterprise ERP platform.

Our application is already ~85% complete.

This App installs into a client’s ServiceNow environment and allows ServiceNow users to easily initiate return shipments of company-issued equipment (laptops, desktops, peripherals, etc.) back to our ERP clients.

What the App Does Today

Deploys into ServiceNow as an Applet

Interfaces directly with our ERP API

Creates Return Orders in our ERP from within ServiceNow

Enhancements Needed

We need a developer who can:

Make the app more flexible to support variations in customer ServiceNow implementations

(ex: some clients want to tie the workflow to their internal catalog items, while others simply want a generic “Return by Category” experience like Laptop / Desktop / Monitor)

Enhance post-order workflow:

once the asset is returned and processed through our ERP, the ServiceNow App should call our API and retrieve the resulting Disposition Details, including:

Final disposition classification

Asset status

Device erasure certificate record (stored in our ERP)

Those final results then need to be pushed back into the appropriate ServiceNow record so that the ServiceNow user can see the full return lifecycle — from initiation → receipt → final disposition & erasure.

Once completed, you will assist with the ServiceNow Store submission process

Ongoing feature enhancements will follow this milestone
