Position Overview: We are seeking a technically skilled Senior Associate to bolster our growing ServiceNow ITOM (IT Operations Management) team. This role is perfect for an enthusiastic individual who enjoys hands-on development and configuration, primarily focusing on ITOM modules like Discovery, Service Mapping, and Event Management. You will work within a collaborative delivery team, creating scalable ServiceNow solutions that generate significant results for our clients. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform in-depth technical configuration and scripting for ServiceNow ITOM, including:
- Discovery patterns, probes, and sensors
- MID Server installation, configuration, and troubleshooting
- Event Management rule creation and alert correlation
- Service Mapping design and deployment
- Develop integration solutions with external systems (e.g., monitoring tools, CMDB feeders).
- Convert technical requirements into scalable implementations that are supportable.
- Collaborate with Solution Architects and leads to ensure quality and alignment of solutions.
- Document processes clearly to maintain reusable documentation and development standards.
- Assist in system testing, UAT, deployment, and performance optimization.
- Participate in technical design sessions and code reviews.
- Occasionally engage clients during workshops, validations, or post-go-live support. Desired Skills:
- Proficient in JavaScript, REST/SOAP APIs, and ServiceNow scripting methods.
- Solid understanding of ServiceNow CMDB, discovery patterns, and infrastructure modeling.
- Experience with third-party tool integrations like SolarWinds, SCOM, Dynatrace, LogicMonitor, etc.
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructures (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid environments.
- Exceptional troubleshooting skills related to MID Servers, connectivity, and system performance. Required Certifications:
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) is required.
- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) for Discovery, Service Mapping, or Event Management is required.
- Certified Application Developer (CAD) is preferred. Qualifications:
- 3+ years of professional experience.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow ITOM.
- Proven track record in implementing and configuring ServiceNow Discovery, Service Mapping, and Event Management.
- Able to deliver technical solutions independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially in documenting complex technical logic.
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a distributed team.
- Willingness to travel up to 30% for client engagements.
