Overview

GovCIO is on the lookout for a skilled Software Quality Assurance Engineer and Tester who thrives in a dynamic operations and maintenance environment. If you have proven hands-on experience with the Automated Test Framework (ATF) on the ServiceNow platform, we want to hear from you! This pivotal role involves engaging directly with our customers to ensure their satisfaction and success.

Responsibilities

• Lead ATF QA initiatives across various ServiceNow implementations and upgrades.
• Craft and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and automated scripts.
• Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and key stakeholders to uphold quality standards.
• Identify, document, and monitor defects, ensuring thorough resolution and retesting.
• Ensure adherence to government contract obligations and quality assurance standards.
• Contribute QA insights during the planning, execution, and delivery phases of projects.
• Support ongoing enhancement initiatives in QA methodologies and tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems, Business, or comparable technical science.
• 5-8 years of IT experience, with a minimum of 5 years focused on ServiceNow ATF.
• 4 additional years of relevant experience may replace formal education.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Hands-on experience with ServiceNow's Automated Test Framework, including the design, construction, and execution of automated test cases.
• Comprehensive understanding of ServiceNow architecture, modules, and workflows.
• Familiarity with government contracting processes and documentation standards.
• Experience in both manual and automated testing methodologies.
• Outstanding analytical skills and attention to detail.

Clearance Requirement

• Must be able to secure a DHS Public Trust clearance.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Experience integrating ATF with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Active DHS Public Trust clearance.
• Certifications in ServiceNow (e.g., Certified System Administrator, ATF Specialist) or QA methodologies (e.g., ISTQB).

The stated pay range reflects the expected compensation for this position at the start of employment. However, actual pay may vary based on multiple factors, including location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity. The complete compensation package may include other salary elements that will be discussed throughout the hiring process. If hired, the employee will be in an at-will position and GovCIO reserves the right to modify base salary (along with other discretionary payments or compensation programs) at any time, based on performance and market conditions.
