ServiceNow Developer / Engineer Chandler, AZ (Hybrid, 2-3 days onsite per week) Full-Time

About the Role

Were seeking a ServiceNow Developer or Engineer with strong experience in the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) to join a growing ServiceNow practice. In this role, youll design, build, and optimize CMDB-related solutions that enhance IT visibility, automate processes, and strengthen ITSM, ITOM, and Asset Management capabilities.

Youll collaborate closely with architects, business analysts, and cross-functional delivery teams to deliver scalable, high-quality ServiceNow implementations that align with business goals and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow solutions with a focus on CMDB, Discovery, and Service Mapping.
• Integrate CMDB with ITSM, ITOM, and Asset Management modules to improve operational efficiency and data accuracy.
• Configure CI classes, identification rules, and relationship models to maintain data integrity.
• Develop automation scripts using JavaScript, Flow Designer, and Orchestration tools.
• Perform CMDB audits, reconciliation, and ongoing data quality improvement.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements, estimate work, and deliver technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot issues related to CMDB data, integrations, and platform performance.
• Participate in Agile sprints, demos, and retrospectives as part of an engaged delivery team.

What Were Looking For

• 3+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development or engineering experience.
• Solid understanding of CMDB structure, CI relationships, and Discovery patterns.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, Glide APIs, Flow Designer, and platform configuration.
• Experience with one or more ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, or SAM.
• Knowledge of MID Server configuration and integration protocols (REST/SOAP, JDBC, etc.).
• A passion for automation, clean architecture, and data-driven IT operations.
