ServiceNow Integration Specialist (SAP Integration

About the Role

We’re looking for experienced ServiceNow Integration Specialists with proven expertise in integrating ServiceNow and SAP through Integration Hub, custom connectors, and Event Management.

You’ll play a key role in designing, developing, and optimizing integrations between ServiceNow and SAP systems ensuring seamless data flow, automation, and reliability across platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow–SAP integrations using Integration Hub, custom spokes, and MID Server.

• Manage bi-directional integrations (SAP ↔ ServiceNow) for data synchronization.

• Configure and support Event Management — including alert rules, event mapping, and correlation rules.

• Collaborate with SAP and ServiceNow teams to analyze business needs and deliver robust integration solutions.

• Develop and manage custom REST/SOAP APIs, Webhooks, and data transformations within ServiceNow.

• Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, ensuring performance and reliability.

• Maintain clear documentation of integration design, mappings, and workflows.

• Follow ServiceNow best practices and participate in code reviews and system optimizations.

Mandatory Skills

• Hands-on experience with ServiceNow Integration Hub, REST/SOAP APIs, and custom connector development.

• Strong JavaScript and Glide API scripting skills for workflows and automation.

• Experience with MID Server configuration for secure integrations.

• Knowledge of OAuth 2.0, Basic Auth, and certificate-based authentication.

• Familiarity with ServiceNow ITSM and CMDB modules.

• Strong debugging, payload transformation, and performance optimization skills.

Required Qualifications

• 5–8 years of total IT experience, with 4+ years in ServiceNow development/integration.

• Hands-on experience integrating SAP with ServiceNow (via IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs).

• Strong understanding of REST/SOAP APIs, Webhooks, JSON/XML, and authentication methods.

• Knowledge of Event Management, Discovery, and CMDB.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with ITOM, Flow Designer, and Orchestration.

• Understanding of SAP data structures and modules.

• Certifications such as ServiceNow CSA or Integration Hub Specialist are a plus.
