Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Compunnel Inc. is seeking a ServiceNow Lead / Architect to oversee the technical planning and requirements gathering phases for ITSM, SPM, and CMDB projects. The role involves leading technical initiatives, mentoring team members, and providing architectural guidance for ServiceNow solutions while ensuring effective collaboration and documentation.
Responsibilities
- Lead the technical planning & requirements gathering phases including estimate, develop, test, manage projects, architect and deliver.
- Serve as a technical lead and mentor. Provide technical support or leadership in the development and continual improvement of service.
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with team members.
- Demonstrate the ability to adapt and work with team members of various experience level.
- Proven consulting experience as a key technical resource leading the development and delivery of ServiceNow solutions in client environments.
- Expert level proficiency in ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, ITAM etc. Now Assist would be considered a plus.
- Provide best practices and architectural guidance for newly built solutions and how it interfaces with other ServiceNow modules.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, design specifications, and configuration guides.
- Conduct regular system assessments and performance tuning to optimize the ServiceNow environment.
- Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and support data-informed task execution.
- Familiarity with AI-enhanced platforms is a plus.
- A solid understanding of AI capabilities and limitations including ethical considerations is expected.
- Should be comfortable with making UI updates such as creating new widgets, customizing existing portal widgets etc.
- Experience with key technologies relevant to ServiceNow integration solutions including: SSO, SAML, SSL, Web Services, LDAP, SOAP, ODBC, REST, SCP, FTPS.
- Experience with scripting in the ServiceNow platform using JS: Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Actions, UI Pages, Angular JS etc.
- Proven experience in designing integration solutions from ServiceNow to other HR applications such as Workday, UKG Pro, Rippling etc.
- Strong ownership, accountability, and attention to detail in all work efforts.
- Experience with SDLC processes implementing in a variety of project methodologies such as Agile/Scrum.
- Must be open to travel.
