Job Description :
Looking for an experienced ServicNow BA, with skills like eliciting and documenting business requirements, translating them into user stories, and collaborating with technical teams to ensure solutions align with business goals. Key responsibilities involve supporting development, managing user acceptance testing (UAT), and creating documentation like process flows and test scripts. Strong communication, problem-solving skills, and familiarity with ServiceNow, ITIL, and Agile methodologies are essential for the role.
Key responsibilities
- Requirement gathering and analysis: Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements for ServiceNow projects, often through workshops and interviews with stakeholders.
- Solution design and validation: Collaborate with architects and developers to ensure proposed solutions meet business needs and align with goals.
- Documentation: Create comprehensive documentation, including user stories, process flows, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria.
- Testing: Support and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate that the solution meets requirements and business needs.
- Agile and project support: Participate in Agile ceremonies like backlog grooming and sprint planning to support delivery efforts.
- Communication and stakeholder management: Act as a liaison between business and technical teams, ensuring smooth communication and alignment.
- Process improvement: Identify and implement improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of ServiceNow configurations and processes.
- Training and support: Develop training materials and system support documentation for project go-lives.
Required skills and qualifications
- Experience: 8-10 years as a Business Analyst, with a strong emphasis on projects using the ServiceNow platform.
- Technical knowledge: Solid understanding of ServiceNow data architecture, especially the CMDB, and core tables is often required.
- Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile/Scrum and ITIL processes.
- Soft skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving, analytical, and stakeholder management skills are crucial.Certifications: Certifications like ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) or Business Analyst are often preferred or required
