Senior ServiceNow ITAM Solutions Architect

Location: NYC, NY

Duration: Long term

Role Summary

Role and responsibilities: The architect leads the design and delivery of scalable, maintainable ServiceNow ITAM solutions, collaborates with clients and technical teams, manages design documentation and governance, and communicates effectively as a subject matter expert.

Required skills and experience: Candidates should have proven expertise in ServiceNow solution design and ITAM delivery, experience with integrations using REST or SOAP, knowledge of ServiceNow implementation and migration, and the ability to manage stakeholder relationships and development teams.

Additional qualifications: Preferred qualifications include ITIL Foundation certification, ServiceNow Administrator credentials, integration experience with third-party tools, Certified Implementation Specialist certification (preferably in ITAM), and familiarity with communication protocols like HTTP, TCP, SNMP, SOAP, and REST

ROLE OBJECTIVE & DELIVERABLES:

SUMMARY:

As a Senior ServiceNow Solutions Architect, you will be a key member of the team responsible for designing and implementing ServiceNow ITAM solutions that align with organizational goals and industry best practices. You will provide guidance to a team of solution architects and developers, and client stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of a complex HAM ServiceNow programme. You will require experience in enterprise level architecture, data & integration strategies with a key focus on ITAM solutions.

EMPLOYEE RESPONSABILITIES:

  • Build a robust solution for the client which takes into account upgradability, scalability and maintainability.
  • Provide creative solutions to resolve business problems via agreed customer requirements on the ServiceNow platform, prioritising existing Out of the Box capabilities.
  • Work closely with the Client and Technical Teams, using your ServiceNow skills, industry knowledge, stakeholder management, leadership, to create an innovative approach to owning design, configuration and build of complex solutions.
  • Work closely with the Solution and Technical architect team and deliver HLD & LLD for the proposed solution and work closely with the client to acquire sign off on design solutions.
  • Own design documentation and progress through TDA Governance
  • Demonstrate verbal and written communication skills while interacting with customers and colleagues as a ServiceNow Solutions SME.

KEY SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Have a strong and proven background in solution design on the ServiceNow platform
  • Have a strong and proven background in delivering ITAM solutions on the ServiceNow platform
  • Architect knowledgeable in ServiceNow implementation and migrations, competent in working with customers, conducting workshops, understanding the customer's business and their requirements.
  • Proven ServiceNow implementation experience
  • Have a strong and proven background in integrating various 3rd party tools with ServiceNow using REST or SOAP
  • Have proven experience in using and understanding ServiceNow spokes, service graph connectors and Integration Hub.
  • Develop the technical solutions, implement them, and perform the relevant component integration tests
  • Able to work closely within a mixed development team that may include external development capability and ensure that code and update sets are managed in line with ServiceNow best practices
  • Experience as part of a professional services organisation
  • Experience of ServiceNow delivery engineering practices
  • Experience in managing internal and client or vendor stakeholders to agreed feature functionality roadmaps that impact delivery
  • Solid experience of dealing with stakeholders across multiple business units
  • Analytical skills and capacity to synthesize information.
  • Strong orientation to results, eager for achievement.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, self-motivation and coaching skills, cultural sensitivity
  • Strong written verbal communication skills
  • Management of time pressure priorities
  • Excellent organisation and planning skills

Additional skills and experience should include:

  • ITIL Foundation
  • ServiceNow Administrator
  • ServiceNow Integration experience with 3rd party tools
  • Certified Implementation Specialist (in one mainline area) preferably ITAM
  • Familiarity with industry-standard communication protocols such as HTTP, TCP, SNMP, SOAP, and REST.
