ServiceNow Architectural Specialist

Job Title:

Servicenow Developer - IT Workflows / CMDB/CSDM

• Main Responsibilities:
• Design, develop and maintain CMDB data models, CI classes and relationships in Servicenow.
• Implement Discovery and Service Mapping to populate and update the CMDB, ensuring high-quality data is available at all times.
• Integrate external data sources with the CMDB using APIs, MID Servers and ETL tools for seamless data flow.
• Guarantee data integrity, normalization and compliance with CMDB governance policies through meticulous analysis and implementation.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define CI requirements and support ITSM, ITOM and other Servicenow modules, fostering a culture of open communication and collaboration.
• Develop and maintain health dashboards, audits and reconciliation processes for the CMDB, providing real-time insights into system performance and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and resolve CMDB-related issues promptly, addressing data quality and performance concerns through effective problem-solving skills.
• Document CMDB architecture, processes and procedures clearly, making complex information easily accessible to team members.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Servicenow platform updates and best practices for CMDB development and administration.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field.
• 3 years of hands-on experience in Servicenow CMDB/CSDM development and administration.
• Strong understanding of CMDB/CSDM data models, CI classes and relationships.
• Experience with Servicenow Discovery, Service Mapping and MID Server configuration.
• Proficiency in scripting (JavaScript, Glide) and Servicenow APIs.
• Familiarity with ITIL and Configuration Management processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
