Join ICF's Digital Modernization Division, a rapidly expanding technology department, as a ServiceNow Developer. We are dedicated to supporting our federal customers remotely from anywhere within the U.S. Our team offers integrated, strategic solutions for both public and private sectors, helping to enhance the capabilities of our clients through advanced IT services.

The Role: As a ServiceNow Developer, you will play a vital role in addressing the mission, business, and operational needs of our clients. Your efforts will contribute to the development of diverse programs, including systems designed for fraud detection, wireless spectrum auctions, and citizen engagement in regulatory processes—all utilizing the ServiceNow platform. You will also enhance employee services within our portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define system scope and objectives.
  • Create detailed specifications for application builds.
  • Assist in the creation and grooming of user stories.
  • Engage in coding, testing, debugging, and creating technical documentation.
  • Oversee all phases of application systems analysis and programming.
  • Instruct and mentor junior team members.
  • Develop front-end and back-end components.
  • Utilize programming languages and databases such as PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and JSON.
  • Build scoped applications efficiently.

Required Skills:

  • 3+ years of experience developing on the ServiceNow platform.
  • 3+ years in IT application systems for technology solution delivery.
  • 2+ years in platform customization and custom application development.
  • 2+ years of experience with core applications such as Incident, Problem, Change, and Service Catalog.
  • 2+ years of JavaScript development, including HTML5, Jelly, jQuery, and AngularJS.
  • Experience leading and mentoring junior team members.
  • Proven experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen to meet federal government requirements for this position.
  • Ability to obtain Public Trust clearance.

Preferred Skills:

  • Integration experience (SOAP, REST, JSON, JDBC, file imports).
  • Experience with API-led Integration Platforms such as MuleSoft or Apigee.
  • ServiceNow instance administration knowledge.
  • Experience with legacy application refactoring in ServiceNow.
  • Conducted ServiceNow instance upgrades.
  • ServiceNow Developer Certification is a strong advantage.
