ITOM Specialist

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to assume the role of ITOM Specialist, focusing on ServiceNow Discovery and CMDB implementation. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for configuring, implementing, and optimizing ServiceNow ITOM modules. Key Responsibilities:

• Implementation and Optimization: Configure, implement, and optimize ServiceNow ITOM modules with focus on Discovery and CMDB.
• Client Collaboration: Work closely with clients to gather requirements, design technical solutions, and ensure best practices alignment.
• Workflow Development: Develop and customize workflows, business rules, and automation scripts to enhance platform functionality.
• Troubleshooting and Support: Conduct Discovery troubleshooting, CI class mapping, and data reconciliation. Provide deployment, testing, and post-implementation support.
• Integration Efforts: Support integration efforts using REST/SOAP APIs and ensure data accuracy across CMDB relationships.

The ideal candidate will possess proven hands-on experience in ServiceNow Discovery and CMDB implementation, 2-3 years of ServiceNow configuration and implementation experience, strong understanding of ITOM architecture, MID Server setup, credentials, and probe/sensor troubleshooting, proficiency in scripting (JavaScript/Glide) and integration (REST/SOAP APIs), and ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification.
