We are hiring for a Sr ServiceNow Developer to work on a U.S. Federal Civilian project.

Candidates must have (or be able to obtain) a public trust clearance. This position requires candidates to obtain/maintain a public trust background investigation.

Candidates must be a U.S. Citizen, or Permanent Resident with a Green Card (no Visas, no Exceptions). Residency will be validated.

Job Summary

We are looking for a Sr ServiceNow developer to deliver join our team supporting federal clients. You will be responsible for configuring ServiceNow components and developing customized solutions within the ServiceNow platform. You will also analyze requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, wireframes, work in a cross-functional agile delivery team, support testing, deployment, and documentation activities, as well as troubleshoot/resolve errors. To ensure success as a developer, you should have extensive experience working with ServiceNow platforms, application development skills, and the ability to solve complex software problems. Ultimately, a strong developer can create dynamic and scalable ServiceNow applications that meet the changing needs of client.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Work as a senior resource and lead for teams and projects (e.g., performing code reviews and giving direct feedback, owning branch strategy and pull requests, defining standards/processes, instilling coding best practices and security, driving DecSecOps practices, authoring custom frameworks, coaching other developers and team members, and working closely with project leadership.
  • Work on a cross-functional agile delivery team to analyze and deliver user stories, features, and enhancements.
  • Develop customized solutions within the ServiceNow platform.
  • Design, code, and implement ServiceNow applications.
  • Write unit tests and perform due diligence to meet acceptance criteria.
  • Create timelines and development goals.
  • Test the stability and functionality of the application.
  • Troubleshoot and fix bugs.
  • Write documents and provide technical training.

Qualifications and Minimum Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field of study.
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
  • Direct ServiceNow configuration experience
  • 3+ years' experience in low-code/no-code platforms (e.g., ServiceNow, Salesforce, Appian)
  • 5+ years' experience in development on RBMS platforms (e.g., Oracle, SQL, MySQL, MariaDB)
  • 5+ years' experience data modeling to include creating and modifying standard and custom objects, writing stored procedures, optimizing queries and views, and performing ETL
  • 5+ years' experience in development using web technologies (e.g., JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap)
  • 5+ years' experience in JSON, XML, SOAP, REST and working knowledge of application programming interfaces (APIs) to support low-code/no-code platforms
  • 5+ years' experience in working on agile delivery teams (e.g., with POs, testers, architects) as well as performing testing, debugging, root cause analysis, and authoring technical artifacts, documents, and deliverables
  • 3+ years' experience deploying ServiceNow applications
  • 3+ years' experience developing in Java
  • Excellent communication and written skills.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident w/Green Card (no Visas, no Exceptions).
  • Must be able to obtain/maintain a Federal Background Investigation.

Nice to Have Skills and Experience

  • Active Public Trust Clearance
  • Experience working with the Federal Government
  • 5+ years' experience as a developer using object-oriented programming languages (e.g., Java, C#, C++)
  • 5+ years' experience using Git with branching / merging, code reviews, and pull requests
  • 2+ years' experience using AWS

A pay range for the posted position is listed below. Note that base pay offered may vary depending on multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for this position, including but not limited to, relevant work experience, certifications, market location, and job-related competencies. Employees hired will be in an "at will position."

Pay Range: $100,000 - $120,000 Annually
