ServiceNow Developer(Eligible to Obtain Security Clearance)

Client Comment - Contractor with significant experience in developing, configuring, and administrating ServiceNow for a 6-month initial contract. We're seeking not just someone who can configure these systems, but someone who has also assisted organizations in translating their business requirements, gathering these requirements, and configuring ITSM and CMDB to meet our needs while adhering to industry best practices.

The Developer, ServiceNow

• Is responsible for helping drive adoption and designing, developing, and implementing software applications on the ServiceNow platform.
• Includes developing custom applications, integrations with other systems, and configuring out-of-the-box solutions to meet business needs.

Essential Duties:

• Maintain existing ServiceNow modules to support the business and IT operations.
• Work with a team of IT Engineers and stakeholders in an Agile Software Development environment.
• Evaluate and/or implement additional ServiceNow modules, as necessary.
• Adhere to standards for implementations in ServiceNow to ensure consistency and supportability of customizations.
• Perform platform upgrades and review of key update sets.
• Develop test cases for functional and regression testing and execute them as part of any ServiceNow platform or module upgrade/change.
• Drive the improvement of our ServiceNow implementation and service offerings based on feedback.
• Create custom workflows to support business processes.
• Perform data imports.
• Create integrations and process automation using ServiceNow Orchestration.
• Administer/maintain API and data integration processes between ServiceNow and other services.
• Create and maintain ServiceNow Business Rules and Metrics.
• Work with ServiceNow and other vendors.
• Build New applications on the platform.

Required:

• BS in Computer Science or related field
• 7+ years’ ServiceNow platform development experience
• Angular JS work experience is desirable
• Experience working with JavaScript libraries such as Angular/React JS, Bootstrap, jQuery, and Prototype
• Good knowledge of AJAX, JSON, XML, SOAP, REST, and associated frameworks.
