Senior ServiceNow Architect

Duties and Responsibilities: Own ServiceNow platform architecture, roadmap, and design standards. Lead alignment across applications, infrastructure, and services. Architect integrations (directory/identity, monitoring/event management, ERP/finance, endpoint management tools). Establish and enforce development best practices: security, ACL/RBAC, Flow Designer, ATF, release pipelines. Guide product owners, developers, and admins; approve solution designs. Ensure performance, scalability, and upgrade readiness. Build dashboards that show operational value and outcomes (not just activity). Reduce technical debt; streamline change/incident/problem workflows. Education and Years of Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience.

Required Skills/Certifications: ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) Minimum 7+ years of ServiceNow experience. 3+ years acting as a ServiceNow Architect or Design Authority. Deep expertise in: ITSM (Incident/Problem/Change/Request) ITOM ITAM Security operations Strategic portfolio management IntegrationHub & Flow Designer Strong understanding of non-functional requirements: performance, security, upgradeability, and release management. Proven experience leading cross-functional delivery teams. Preferred Experience ServiceNow support for a large enterprise or public-sector environment Platform automation: Automated Test Framework (ATF), pipelines, CI/CD Service Mapping, ITOM, Performance Analytics Preferred (any of the following): Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) — ITSM / Discovery / CMDB / CSDM Certified Application Developer (CAD) Certified Technical Architect (CTA) – highly preferred ITIL v4 Foundation or higher.
