We are currently seeking a ServiceNow Junior Developer - Auxiliary - Burnaby to join our team in Burnaby, British Columbia (CA-BC), Canada (CA).

Purpose of Position

The ServiceNow Junior Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the service catalog within the ServiceNow platform. Their primary role is to create and customize catalog items, workflows, and user interfaces to meet the specific needs of the organization. They work closely with the ServiceNow Business Analysts to understand service requirements and translate them into functional catalog items that streamline service delivery and improve user experience. The developer ensures that the service catalog is intuitive, efficient, and aligns with ITIL best practices. They also handle troubleshooting and optimization of existing catalog items, implement automation where possible, and stay updated with the latest ServiceNow features to enhance the catalog’s capabilities.

Accountabilities

• Understand business requirements and work within a group environment to provide efficient and effective ServiceNow service catalogue solutions.
• Participate in the full software development life cycle: Analysis, Design, Coding, Testing and promotion into Production.
• Provide technical support during all phases of service catalogue delivery.

Competencies (To be assessed during interviews)

• Experience developing workflows and logic using Flow Designer
• Strong knowledge of ITIL v3 methodologies, ITSM concepts, enterprise IT architecture, relational databases, ITIL certifications a plus.
• Strong technical knowledge of ServiceNow Service Catalogue

Qualifications

• 1 year ServiceNow service catalogue development, configuration and administration experience in an enterprise environment.
• ServiceNow Certified Administrator (CSA)
• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
